Arsene Wenger is my hero of the day.

he has always been. he is the reason why i support the arsenal football club. without doubt, he created one of the most enjoyable football team to watch. a living legend, i must say. but who knew he had a sense of humour eh?

the arsenal manager was sent off by referee Mike Dean after he kicked a water bottle in protest over RVP’s disallowed goal in injury-time in the 2-1 defeat at old trafford. wenger then proceeded to go behind the dug-out and stood with the fans with his hands stretched out looking at the referee, before being escorted to the tunnel by a steward. brilliant!

ahh, if they put that on a t-shirt, im the first to buy.

we were really unlucky not to have won the game. we totally and utterly outplayed the so called champions on their own pitch and even the most biased Man Cunt fan can’t deny that. the penalty call was also very harsh as Rooney the Shrek had absolutely no chance of reaching that ball, he literally kicked the ball into the stands and waited for contact from Almunia.

during the course of the game, Man Cunt didn’t create not even 1 decent goal scoring opportunity but still managed to get 2 lucky goals through a pen and an og. im telling all of you now that if Man Cunt continue to play the way they are, there is no chance in hell that they will win the league this season because we, the gunners, are going to gun down the devils once again and yes, we are going to win this season!

im all alone now in the house. the mama and the adiks went to kl. the abang is at his hostel. and just now, the abah went out to see orang penting that i dont know who. eh wait a minute, im not alone. the maid is watching tv dekat bawah, kot.

anyhow, today is the abah's 50th birthday and yet, i havent wish him. never to be specific.

totally off topic, but what the hell.

im entitled to indulge every once in awhile. friends of mine may remember that im a bit of a horror film fan. hantu film to be more specific. heh. i finally got around to watch Hannibal last night. i had been avoiding it because i figured it would be bad. it wasnt that great but at least somewhat better than i thought it would be. so here is my question for you the readers: can the depiction of graphic violence for the sake of violence have any real merit ?

i admit that i found the film is quite entertaining. but i wouldnt recommend it, and i have no need to see it again, but it wasnt a terrible way to waste an evening. is this enough to redeem what was a brutal and nasty film ?

i could try to argue artistic merit and claim that the film needs no social merit because it functions as art. this seems a bit week in this particular case. i have seen many films which were far more violent and disturbing but that genuinely worked as art. this wasn't really up to the standard where it could be considered art.

did it have any virtue? no, not really. the violence was sufficiently predictable and over-the-top that it didn't really accomplish anything emotional langsung.

maybe movies like this do not need to have any social merit, any redeeming qualities. well maybe the fact that someone finds them entertaining, i think is enough kot. i dont know. i dont mind graphic violence when i feel that there is some point to it. in the absence of any such point, it seems to accomplish little more than desensitization. ahh peduli ah. its just that im not sure this is a good thing. chow.

ive been really pissed off with the arsenal's performance lately. i do not know why, but i think it is because mr wenger always keeps his favourite boys on the pitch. songs always get to play because he is "unexceptionally talented". i really dislike emmanuel eboue ever since the boss keeps playing him as the right winger. he is not a winger for gods sake! he is a defender and he is used for bacary sagna's replacement.
